Welcome to Tsugaru-han Neputa Village Website
We have Neputa, Tsugaru Shamisen,
Tsugaru Traditional Art Crafts and Souvenirs,
and a Tsugaru Food Heritage
operated restaurant.
An actual-sized Neputa Float greets you as you enter this hall. It was published in "Michelin Green Guide Japan".
Here you will find information on Hirosaki Neputa and various other festivals in Aomori Prefecture.
You can see how traditional crafts such as
“Kogin embroidery” are made.
Tsugaru-han Neputa Village’s Sangendo
has a daily live performance of the Tsugaru Shamisen.
Enjoy our Japanese garden “Yokien” and teahouse “Yokian”.
“Zugurian” is a demonstration area where you can play with different types of Japanese tops.
We have special courses available for groups.
